This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) sets forth how we, Altizon Systems Pvt. Ltd. use, process and protect the personal information in our possession, of persons using our application namely the 'Datonis' application.
For residents of the EU, please note that this Privacy Policy has been drafted in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For Non-EU residents, by continuing to use of the Application, the user agrees to this Privacy Policy. If the user does not agree to this Privacy Policy, the user may not access the Application.

When you/ your organization signs up for using our Application, we collect your name, telephone number, e-mail address and similar other information. When you login to the Application, we use cookies to track your activities. Cookies are small encrypted files, that the Application portal transfers to your computer’s hard drive or on your mobile / tablet device or through any such device through which you may access the web through your web browser that enables the Application to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. This includes your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses, and browser name and technical information about your means of connection to our Website, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
For the sake of brevity, the term “Personal Information” used in this document shall include- your name, telephone number, e-mail address and similar other information and the data collected by our cookies.
You understand that you shall be solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the Personal Information shared with us. In the event you share any Personal Information on behalf of a third person, you shall ensure that you have the necessary authority to share such Personal Information with us.
2. What do we do with you data?
We only use the Personal Information to identify you when you log in to the Application portal. We track your activities when you are logged in to the Application portal for providing better user experience by tracking which feature get used more than others. The data is not directly used. Only the cookie that is set after successful login is used for ensuring that the session is valid before a page on the portal is allowed to be accessed by the user. We also use this for tracking which feature/page is being accessed by a user, as this helps us enhance our product offerings and overall quality.
Legal Basis (for residents of the EU)
We will not process your Personal Information without a lawful basis to do so. We will process your Personal Information only on the legal bases of consent [as provided in Art. 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR], contract [as provided in Art. 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR], or on the basis of our legitimate interests [as provided in Art. 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR], provided that such interests are not overridden by your privacy rights and interests.
3. Who do we disclose your data to?
We do not sell, rent, share, distribute, lease or otherwise provide your Personal Information to third parties, without your prior consent. Your Personal Information is only used by us internally for the aforementioned purpose.
4. Transfer of your personal information across borders.
We have offices in the US and India and the Application is hosted from Singapore. The Personal Information we collect might (of the EU residents) be processed outside the EU at a secure center. Please rest assured that any transfer of Personal Information outside the EU in accordance with EU data protection laws. We will ensure that any such transfers of Personal Information (outside the EU) will be governed by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for this purpose. We endeavour to apply suitable safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your Personal Information and to use it consistent with your relationship with us and the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
5. How long do we retain your data?
We will retain your Personal Information as long as it is required to be retained for the purpose of provision of the services under the Application and to comply with our legal obligations. Subject to this section, we will try to delete your Personal Information upon reasonable written request for the same. Please note, however, that there might be latency in deleting Personal Information from our servers and backed-up versions might exist even after deletion. Your Personal Information is stored in a database. This database sits in a private network behind a firewall. The database also allows strong encryption and authentication techniques including encryption in-flight and encryption at rest. This database is handled / monitored by an administrator. Although we do take appropriate security measures, we cannot warrant the security of any Personal Information transmitted as these systems are not hack proof. Data pilferage due to unauthorized hacking, virus attacks, technical issues is possible, and we take no liability or responsibilities for it. You are required to be careful to avoid “phishing” scams, where someone may send you an e-mail that looks like it is from us asking for your personal information.
You have the right to access your Personal Information in our possession, right to have us rectify or modify any such Personal Information, right to have us erase/delete your Personal Information, right to restrict us from processing such Personal Information, right to object to our use of your Personal Information. If you would like to exercise ANY of these rights please contact support@altizon.com. If you are a resident of the EU, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permissible under the law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, information, details or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), arising out of this Privacy Policy.
9. Governing laws and disputes
This Privacy Policy shall be construed and governed by the laws of India without regard to principles of conflict of laws. Any dispute arising, between you and us shall be submitted to the arbitration to be conducted in Pune, India in English language, in accordance with the rules of Arbitration and Conciliation Act of 1996, by a sole arbitrator, who shall be appointed by us and the award made in pursuance thereof shall be binding on you and us. The dispute resolution and arbitration process mentioned in this section shall not prohibit parties from approaching the courts for appropriate interim reliefs. Parties further agree that the courts in Pune, India shall have an exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes.
For any EU residents, this Privacy Policy shall be governed by the provisions of the GDPR.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We shall provide you with an email notification indicating changes in the Privacy Policy. Additionally, you are encouraged to check this Privacy Policy on a regular basis to be aware of the changes made to it.
